Footwear is a little more creative for spring/summer 2009. Different styles of sandals, heels and even boots are reemerging as the hottest shoe trends for the summer.One thing is for sure: shoes this season are here to make a statement.

My favorite shoe trend this season are booties, and I can't wait to see how celebrities and other fashionistas will be wearing them. Combining elements of boots and summer sandals, this trend is sure to last year round!
