The Look for Less: Liv Tyler at the Cannes Film Festival

I love a great midi-length pencil dress, and Liv Tyler wears the trend so well. For a photocall at the Cannes Film Festival, Liv Tyler wore a bustier-style midi-length Tanya Taylor dress. The length is perfection, and I certainly love the nod to summer florals. I think an updo would've complimented this look better, and a bold red lipstick would have really brought out the color. You can get this look for less pretty easily!

My picks to recreate this look are below:
ASOS Pencil Dress With Mirror Flower Print ($76.36 at Asos)
Gypsy SOULE - Concho Drop Earrings (Silver) - Jewelry ($16.00 at Zappos)
BCBG Paris Fran Sandal ($49.95 by BCBGMAXAZRIA at DSW)

How to Get the Great Gatsby Look

The Great Gatsby was no doubt one of my favorite books from high school. There was something so intriguing about it, and of course, I loved envisioning the fashions as I turned the pages. If I could go back to any decade, it would probably be the roaring 20s. I love the opulence of the Jazz Age, the beaded tops, fringe dresses, and pearls!

I've been highly anticipating the release of the Great Gatsby movie, which was supposed to be out in December (right?) but is now slated for a May 10th release. (And you better believe I'm dragging my husband to see it after seeing all of those Avenger, Iron Man, and other related comic book movies with him.) My anticipation for the upcoming movie inspired me to find some amazing 1920s style fashion all under $100.

And if you decide to recreate your own Great Gatsby inspired look, take note of muted pastels, deep oxblood lips, and beaded detailing are definitely key. Shop the look below.

Will you be going to see the Great Gatsby this weekend? Let me know in the comments below!

Style News: H&M Spring Lookbook

H&M's spring looks are here, but unlike most H&M collections I'm not completely obsessed with the whole thing. Model Frida Gustavsson wears pieces from their latest style book, featuring foulard prints, denim and lace along with fringe-adorned and gold jewelry.

There are several looks that I love from the collection, but overall it is just a bit lackluster to me considering what I've seen from H&M in the past. I'm not crazy about the purple tube top that makes two cameos in the lookbook. I love the location, but I think the styling could've been amped up a bit.

See the entire collection below.

My favorite look is above. Which look is your favorite? Let me know in the comments!

Friday Favorites: Celebrity Inspired Easter Sunday Chic

Emmy Rossum is leading the pack right now in uber chic Easter Sunday style. With her fresh take on florals and her unexpected style twists, you can't go wrong channeling this starlet on Easter Sunday.

Option One: I love the unexpected color combination of powder blue, fuschia, and a seafoam green in this dress. Instead of going with a classic nude pump, here Emmy upped the ante by bringing out an accent color in the dress pattern--the green. These seafoam and emerald green contrast pumps are an amazing detail that really makes the look entirely unique.

Option Two: Instead of pastels, why not go for a nice sage green? It's a nice contrast to what other people will be wearing (lavender, periwinkle, white, light pink, etc.), and it will definitely allow you to stand out from the crowd in your own unique way. The dress is still fresh and spring-y with the floral pattern, but the color here is what's definitely unexpected.

Option Three: I'm all about glitter, sequins, and sparkle. I absolutely adore this dress, and I think it adds just the right amount of old Hollywood charm. Try something sparkly for Easter if you're looking to channel this look. And, you can even go with a 20s inspired faux bob and contrasting bold pink lip color to complete the look.

Which look is your favorite? Let me know in the comments below!

The Look for Less: Poppy Delevingne's Brunch Chic

Poppy Delevingne looked absolutely fantastic at the LK Bennett Tea Party, and thanks to Forever 21's style deals you can get a similar mint Maxi Slip Dress for only $15.50. So why not splurge just a tad on the accessories? I mixed up the pastel look with this Expressions NYC Smooth Box Clutch $48.00 at Nordstrom, which provides a great contrast against the pastel dress. For shoes, I found the DV by Dolce Vita Women's Archer Sandal $60 at Amazon.com. And as for that amazing bauble? Why not try the Strand and Deliver Necklace ($21.99 at ModCloth)?

This look is perfect for a casual summer day and would easily carry into night! Plus the $15.50 dress from Forever 21 is extremely versatile. You can really dress it up or down!

The Look for Less: Celebrities Rock Frugal Pieces

Today's celebrity look for less features three pieces that you can actually afford yourself! No need to replicate! These three spring ready looks should certainly get you ready to break out your geometric prints! Emmy Rossum, Louise Roe, and Coco Rocha all rocked affordable and chic looks that you can easily add to your wardrobe!

Emmy Rossum sported a dress straight from the Derek Lam for Kohl's collection, which will release on April 5th. (How exciting!) Louise Roe looked positively fantastic in these Joe Fresh pants (only $29 from JCPenney). Plus her look is pretty simple to recreate, and it's perfect if you live somewhere that's still experiencing cooler temperatures. If you're willing to splurge a bit, Banana Republic's Mad Men Spring 2013 collection has launched, and Coco Rocha looks absolutely fantastic in this Mad Men® Collection Mod Shirtdress ($140.00 at Banana Republic). It's a bit pricey, but it's such a classic!

Best Dressed at the Oscars!

Last night's Oscars were so entertaining and fun, but for me, the Red Carpet is the best part! I love watching the celebrities arrive and the suspense of seeing what they are wearing. I was most curious as to what Anne Hathaway was going to wear, but pleasantly surprised that Naomi Watts was one of my favorite looks! So without further adeiu, here's my Best Dressed list for last night:

  1. Naomi Watts. Absolutely the best dressed star of the night! The silver Armani Privé gown was just breathtaking! The cut out details on the sleeve totally made the entire dress, and I love that she wore her hair up with minimal makeup to let the gown stand on its own.
  2. Anne Hathaway. In all sincerity, I wasn't the biggest fan of her Prada gown compared to some of her other Red Carpet looks, but I really loved her beauty look and her accessories. Plus, she's such a natural on the Red Carpet! The natural shade of pink lip color is my favorite part of Anne Hathaway's look!
  3. Charlize Theron. I prefer her long locks over the pixie cut, I just can't stop oogling over this dress! It's structured, sleek and minimal, and makes such a statement!
  4. Jennifer Anniston. I had to put her on the list since she's one of the only stars who wore a bold, bright colored gown. (I have to admit, the Red Carpet was looking a disapointingly muted and colorless last night.) This was a lovely red Valentino gown that looked absolutely fantastic on Jen!
  5. Jennifer Lawrence. She definitely brought on the glamour in this pale pink Dior Haute Couture gown! The look is memorable, elegant, and definitely one of her best Red Carpet looks yet!

Target's Spring 2013 Lookbook

Target has really stepped it up in the fashion game. They've had quite a reputable list of designer collaborations this year, and they've also had a long list of notable guest editors on the Target Style blog. Currently, I'm obsessing over the Target Spring 2013 Lookbook, which is a complete collection of all Target brands mixed and matched together the way a customer would wear them. In the past Target has done separate lookbooks for each brand, but I'm so glad they decided to create one lookbook with everything in it this season. The only downside for me is that I don't think the lookbook as a whole is cohesive or tells a complete story. However, most of these looks have me wanting to shop at Target, and I'd love to replicate several of them from head to toe.

Find my top picks from the lookbook below! (My absolute favorite is above.)

Friday Favorites: The Best of the Fall 2013 Runway

I have been dying to cover Fashion Week 2013 all week, but with the recent turn of events in my city posting schedules were a bit hectic and then I had Valentine's Day posts that needed to run. But without further aideu, this week's favorites is all about the Fall 2013 runway! Today, I'm focusing on some of the best and most wearable designs!

The Marc by Marc Jacobs collection had an amazing geometric print theme going on, but what I loved most was this little black number with pockets. The hair, the lipstick, the bag... it's retro glam at its finest.

J. Crew was on top of pattern mixing this year, but nothing beats mixing floral with leopard and plaid. This is a look I'd love to recreate for less!

The deep magenta mixed with the shot of hot pink on this Diane Von Furstenberg dress has got me anxious for fall's fresh color palettes! I absolutely love this combination of hues together, and I seriously think I could invest in this dress. Isn't it just fantastic?

Though I was smitten with every single look at Kate Spade (and always am), the bow on this top was my absolute favorite. There's always that one look from their collection that really just hits the spot with me, and this was it. Again, I am loving the color combination!

Badgley Mischka: totally expensive but completely gorgeous. This is a modern day Breakfast at Tiffany's look, and the fur collar was really what sold me on this look. This, too, could be an interesting look for less!

I love pant suits, and this one from Alice + Olivia has that little bit of shimmer and texture to set it apart from just another black pant suit. Again, I was sold on the accessory with this look. Can you believe those shoes?! Adorable! I see Alexa Chung in this.

Pretty Little Things for Valentine's Day under $50

Note: Hi Beauties! I apologize for the two-day hiatus this week. A tornado hit my hometown (Hattiesburg, Miss.), causing the power to go out and the Internet to be down for a few days. We were very blessed to have our home in tact with no damage, even though the tornado hit just a few short blocks away. However, several people in my neighborhood and other surrounding communities have lost their homes, so please keep them in your prayers.

Whether you're single or taken, you'll fall in love with these pretty little under garments under $50! Around Valentine's Day, I always get in the mood to buy fancy lingerie. Even though no one else may see it, pretty underclothes always make me feel more confident. And honestly, sometimes the best way to be sexy on Valentine's Day is what you're wearing underneath your clothes.

Do you ever indulge in pretty intimates on Valentine's Day? Let me know in the comments below!

From left to right: Honeydew® intimates flower lace bralette ($32.00$24.99 at Madewell); Calvin Klein Underwear Lace-trimmed satin camisole ($44.00$22.00 at theOutnet); Lavender Floral Chiffon Mini ($8.00 at Topshop); Cotton and Lace Soft Bra ($32.00 at Topshop); and FOREVER 21 Ribbon Lace Babydoll ($15.80 at Forever 21).
