Holiday Gift Guide 2011: Gifts Everyone Will Love

You've widdled down your shopping list, and now you only have just a few people left. Unfortunately, the last people on your list are tricky to buy for. This year, why not get a gift everyone will love? Food! (If you live in the south, this is a definite winner.)

Don't think of me as a redneck, but I love Summer Sausage from Hickory Farms. (If you're feeling generous, feel free to send some to me!) It's the perfect stocking stuffer for Dad or your Uncle, but don't forget that even ladies like me enjoy this yummy gift! Or I could always go for some chocolate, like these glam Marchesa Casati Truffles from Vosges Chocolate. Have a grumpy single Aunt? She'll be sure to cheerfully mingle if she's sipping on Cupcake Vineyards Pinot Grigio--my after 5 beverage of choice.

Holiday Gift Guide 2011: Handy Gifts for Coworkers

Ah, your coworkers. You're with them for 40 hours or more a week, you gossip by the water cooler together, you moan about your boss in unison... but when it comes to getting gifts for your coworkers--you draw a blank. So, what do your coworkers really need this season? How about something to help get them through the 9 to 5 grind?

No matter where you work or what you do, there are some gifts that are sure to come in handy for your 9 to 5 friends. I can't think of anything more creative and unique than Anne Taintor gifts. (Yes, it's the second time I've mention them, after picking up a stack of Anne Taintor post-its at Click Boutique--but they're so worth the second mention!) For the working gal, Anne Taintor's line of humorous post-its are always an inexpensive winner. Right now, I'm love this WTF post-it ($4.49 at Anne Taintor). Next up, this Mini Robot Vacuum ($26) is perfect for the working girl who wants to tidy up her desk after a quick stay-in lunch. And I must mention this killer Melie Bianco bag--which I have! This gift is the perfect structured bag for any ocassion, but it especially looks chic with your professional attire.

Like/Dislike Stamp ($12.99 at ThinkGeek.com)

5 Items You'll WANT to Add to Your Wishlist

Other than a white Christmas, love, and dreams to come true, I am wishing for some amazing tangible obsessions this December! Think of sparkles, party attire, and red lipstick; something a little more expensive, a little more luxurious than what Beauty and the Budget typically goes for, but still within reach.

Beauties, these are a few of my favorite things...

Holiday Gift Guide 2011: Cool Gifts for Men

Is he your boyfriend? Your bro? Your dad? Your friend?

Who cares?! He'll love these amazing gifts!

When you have absolutely no idea what to get for a guy (they are kind of hard to shop for, am I right?), you simply cannot go wrong with a solid colored tie. Pick his favorite color, buy it, and wrap it. It's fuss-free, just the way it should be. I simply love this purple Calibrate Woven Silk Tie ($49.50 at Nordstrom). For the guy who is a kid at heart, this unique Robot ($19.95$14.95 at CB2) makes a great conversation piece and would look super cool next to his history books on the bookshelf. And lastly, I must point out that men can get pretty stinky, pretty fast. Clean it up the classy way (not the Axe way) with Mad Pine Soap ($10.00 at Need Supply Co.).

A Royal Affair: Decor & Fashion Inspired by the British

It might be another mundane Monday, but I'm taking captivating inspiration from the properly chic Brits in a Royal Affair. Royal accents against a backsplash of modern and rustic pieces are key to creating a sophisticated palette fit for a queen. Who doesn't love the idea of being adorned with crowns and jewels in a home surrounded by stately art and refined decor?

From the Dark Oval Side Chair to an intricate Lace-Strewn Knob, I'm smitten with the pieces in today's decor installment.

Love modern British style? Shop the look below.

Dinner Party Chic: Affordable Accents for Entertaining in Your Home

Play the part of an elegant host to a fabulous dinner party this weekend with these unique, vintage-inspired home accents!

Your dinner guests will be captivated by tastefully selected decor which includes pieces reminiscent of a childhood tea party. Mixing muted color palettes of blue, pink, and yellow will add volumes of style and class that your guests will appreciate. My favorite among the above pieces has to be the carousel patterned dessert plates from Anthropologie--perfect for serving petit fours or lady fingers--and they can also be used for decoration in an old-fashion china hutch once the dinner party is over!

Celebrity Apartment Decor for Less

Getting the look for less is now expanding into home decor!

Contributing Vogue editor, and one of Anna Wintour's favorite socialites, Lauren Santo Domingo has an uber chic pad. Infused with rugged textures, bright accents and animal fixtures, it's definitely on trend this season. It has a very cabin-esque appeal with its dark interiors and seemingly handmade furniture. Although her apartment's worth probably runs into the millions, you can still get this look for a lot less!

To replicate Lauren Santo Domingo's apartment, you'll need to have a keen eye for detail. There is so much going on decor-wise in her place, although it all coheres nicely together. Even though her trinkets can be a bit pricey, you can find similar gems on Etsy or in vintage shops. Remember to take note of the basic color schemes, add a few bright accents, and have fun with pattern mixing.

Click on the items above for more information. Reclaimed Copper Decorative Cup ($9) found on Etsy.

See more photos from her apartment after the jump.
