Fashion Redesign: Lo Bosworth's Blue Period

"The Hills" At PaleyFest09

I'll admit that I'm not an avid watcher of The Hills, The O.C., or The City. Of course, I'm aware of the main idea of these shows, but nonetheless, I don't care to watch them on a daily basis. (I prefer to reserve my television time for Will and Grace and Gossip Girl.)

However, I've somehow found myself a fan of both Lo Bosworth and Whitney Port's style. Their polished ensembles always make me covet their stylish/refined socialite wardrobes.

They dress perfectly for that early 20s woman, enjoying her young, spontaneous life as she basks in the limelight.

Which brings us to Lo Bosworth's Blue Period...

Although the look featured to the left is from April 2009, it is still highly fashionable this season as blue hues are seen on fashionistas ranging from Ginnifer Goodwin to Ashley Olsen. I also love how Lo Bosworth mixed different shades of blue (and the bluish-green top) for an outfit reminiscent of Picasso's Blue Period.

If I were wearing this look, I'd swap out the turquoise clutch for a red one.

For an outfit similar to Lo's, check out Feeling Blue (Complete Ensembles under $100).
