Downtown San Antonio has one of the best shopping centers in the southern United States.

The Rivercenter Shopping Center brings all of those commercialized department stores that we love plus a a few local stores with some savvy Texas flair.

One of the coolest stores I shopped at was Papaya. They have similar styles to Forever 21 and Charlotte Russe, and it's perfect for a beauty and the budget.

The Rivercenter offers more than just shopping. On a hot summer day or a cool fall afternoon, I recommend taking the boat ride down the river for only $8.50 per person.

If you get hungry, there are several restaurants lining the river, but the best restaurant is the Waxy O'Conner Irish Pub. Try their Irish chicken pot pie for dinner!

While you're in town, take part in the night life scene. If you're ready for a night of dancing, check out Club Rive. They play the best dance music! For a more chill environment, check out the Flying Saucer, which carries over 200 different beers.
