What is Beauty and the Budget?

Beauty and the Budget is for those who enjoy the simple things in life-a great fashionable buy. The site was established in May of 2009 after careful deliberation--Valerie wanted an online presence where she could establish herself and relate the idea that fashion doesn't have to cost a fortune. Anyone can look fabulous with a little creativity!

The philosophy behind Beauty and the Budget is for a woman to encompass a sensibly chic lifestyle--one where she'll never deal with buyer's remorse or worry about maxing out her credit cards on style purchases. A truly savvy woman is one who exudes confidence in what she wears, whether it has a name brand attached to it or not. After all, a responsibly stylish woman has no time to worry about over spending on clothing, she's too busy with her career or working towards a college degree.

She's savvy, quick witted and always working on finding the best deals for you!

What does she love? Audrey Hepburn, little black dresses, red lipstick, bubble baths, a great facial moisturizer, and unconventional finds!

Who is the lady behind Beauty and the Budget?

Valerie Warrington is a southern belle who believes that refined taste doesn't have to be expensive. She loves thrift store shopping, vintage fashion, and a good designer deal, but her favorite place to shop is undoubtedly Forever 21.

Other than working on Beauty and the Budget, she's a Visual Merchandiser for Forever 21 who aspires to become a window display artist or mannequinn stylist.

In her closet, you'll find a large collection of shoes, but she also has a library of fashion magazines and, although embarking upon 26, she still subscribes to Seventeen!
