Remember when teen TV shows were funny and purely innocent? Saved by the Bell is a classic example of old TV--the kids were just kids. They weren't sleeping around with each other, they didn't get pregnant, and the most controversial episode was probably when Jessie Spano was addicted to caffeine pills.

There's no doubt that Kelly Kapowski (played by Tiffani Amber Thiessen) was the most popular of the crew. She was the popular cheerleader that we all aspired to be once our own high school years began. We were jealous of her perfectly feathered bangs, and of course, the fact that she got to date Zack, the coolest guy at Bayside.

Kelly Kapowski's style was casual and feminine. She wasn't a trendsetter, like Lisa Turtle, or a modest feminist like Jessie Spano. She was just the popular cheerleader with that girl-next-door vibe. I began to wonder, if Saved by the Bell was still on air, what would she dress like today?
