California Fireworks Sales Under Scrutiny Due To Wildfire Threat

FILLMORE, CA - JUNE 30: Customers buy fireworks for upcoming July 4th celebrations from the Grange fireworks stand on June 30, 2008 in Fillmore, Only a...

It's time to celebrate the Fourth of July already! This means two things: 1. The United States is 233 years old, and 2. Summer is halfway over.

As summer reaches its midway point, at least we have a fun holiday to look forward to. Fourth of July means lots of red, white, and blue!

Chances are, you'll be attending a summer barbeque, a picnic, a firework show, or another type of outdoor event. Celebrate in style with your favorite red party dress or throw on a pair of bright blue heels.

Wherever you celebrate, be sure to take all of the Fourth of July Essentials with you.

Protect your skin by lathering on the sunscreen, and add a hat for further protection from the sun. Floppy hats are in style this season, but you can also opt for a cute cowboy hat or a straw fedora.

Cotton or linen dresses are likely to be the most comfortable ensemble to wear outdoors, especially if you will be celebrating in 85-degree plus weather. It's okay to wear white, just be careful not to spill anything on it, and opt for flats or wedges for a comfortable summer look.
